As women in business, we’re often encouraged to celebrate our mentors, collaborators, and communities.

But Father’s Day offers an opportunity to recognize another group of people who quietly influence our journeys more than they may ever realize.

The fathers who taught us resilience.

The husbands who believed in the dream before it made sense.

The partners who held down the fort while we built something from scratch.

The grandfathers who showed us what integrity looked like.

The brothers who encouraged us to take the leap.

The sons who remind us every day why we’re building a legacy in the first place.

At The CEO Society, we spend a lot of time talking about leadership, ambition, visibility, and growth. Yet behind many successful women is someone who offered encouragement, perspective, support, or simply a steady hand when things felt uncertain.

Sometimes that support came in the form of business advice.

Sometimes it came in the form of watching the kids while we attended a meeting.

Sometimes it came in the form of listening to one more idea, one more pitch, one more dream.

And sometimes it came in the form of believing in us long before we believed in ourselves.

Success is rarely built alone.

While this community exists to power the presence of women in business, we also recognize the people who have helped make that presence possible.
