GROUNDED, WHILE TAKING FLIGHT
I want everyone who knows me to see that I’m the same person in every room, and they always know where they stand with me. My Integrity is what I want to be known for.

Attorney, Leader, and Future Pilot Shauna Sinclair on Integrity, Growth, and Building Trust that Lasts
Most people know Shauna Sinclair as an attorney, business owner, and trusted advisor. Fewer know she’s planning to earn her private pilot’s license in 2027. Yet the ambition feels fitting. Throughout her career, Shauna has remained remarkably grounded—guided by integrity, steadied by conviction, and committed to doing what’s right—while never losing sight of what’s possible beyond the horizon.
Integrity at Every Altitude
For Shauna Sinclair, success has never been about being the loudest voice in the room. It’s been about being the most consistent.
As President and Managing Attorney of Sinclair Law Group, she has built a reputation for telling people what they need to hear rather than what they want to hear—a distinction that has become increasingly rare in both business and life.
It’s a philosophy rooted in integrity.
“I want everyone who knows me to see that I’m the same person in every room, and they always know where they stand with me,” she says.
That commitment shapes every aspect of her work. While many attorneys build trust by aligning themselves with a client’s anger, fear, or desire for vindication, Shauna takes a different approach. She believes real advocacy requires honesty, even when the truth is difficult.
Sometimes that means telling a client a fight isn’t worth pursuing. Sometimes it means explaining that a court may not see a situation the same way they do. And sometimes it means helping someone separate what they want from what will truly serve them in the long run.
“I want clients to remember that I was honest through the entire process and prepared them for what was ahead.”
It’s an approach that requires equal parts strength and empathy—qualities that have become hallmarks of both her leadership and her practice.
Built for This
Long before law school, courtrooms, and business ownership, Shauna already knew where she was headed.
As a child, she famously announced that she wanted to be either an attorney or an actress. While one dream ultimately won out, she laughs that both professions require confidence, communication, and a willingness to perform under pressure.
Her path into family law came unexpectedly when she found herself sitting in a family attorney’s office as a young adult. By the time her case concluded, she had been offered a position at the firm.
She accepted.
What followed was more than a decade of hands-on experience, working her way from legal assistant to Certified Paralegal while learning every aspect of the profession.
From the moment she stepped into family law, she knew she’d found her calling.
“This is definitely my thing,” she remembers thinking.
Years later, determined to expand her impact, she made the decision to attend law school.
Determination in Action
If there is one chapter of her story that best illustrates her character, it may be this one.
While working full-time and raising three young children, Shauna completed her bachelor’s degree online in preparation for law school.
Then she did what many would consider impossible.
She continued raising her family, excelled academically, participated in advocacy and legal writing programs, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from UNT Dallas College of Law.
The achievement wasn’t fueled by luck.
It was fueled by discipline, determination, and a clear vision of the future she wanted to create.
Those same qualities continue to guide her today.
The Power of Perspective
Ask Shauna what people seek her out for most often, and the answer isn’t legal strategy.
It’s perspective.
People come to her looking for an honest assessment.
Am I being reasonable?
Am I seeing this clearly?
What am I missing?
In many ways, her role extends beyond legal counsel. She helps people find clarity during seasons of uncertainty.
She listens.
She challenges assumptions.
She helps people make decisions they can feel confident about long after the moment has passed.
That perspective is guided by a simple question she asks herself regularly:
Am I doing what’s right?
Whether the decision affects a client, an employee, a child, or the future of her business, that question serves as her compass.
And much like a pilot relies on instruments when visibility is limited, Shauna relies on her principles when the path forward isn’t always obvious.

Leading Women Forward
As a member of The CEO Society Council, Shauna is excited to help bring new energy, new ideas, and new opportunities to women in business throughout the Rockwall area.
She sees tremendous value in creating spaces where women can connect beyond traditional networking and engage in conversations that challenge, inspire, and elevate one another.
“Rockwall women business owners need something to come in and shake things up,” she says.
For her, The CEO Society represents an opportunity to introduce fresh perspectives, meaningful relationships, and a different way of thinking about leadership.
When asked what “Powering the Presence of Women in Business” means to her, her answer is simple:
Helping women lead with conviction, credibility, and influence without compromising who they are.
It’s a philosophy that mirrors her own approach to life and leadership.
Grounded in values.
Focused on growth.
Always reaching higher.
