GeorgeAnn Shafer – Shafer Studios

THE ARTIST:
GeorgeAnn Shafer is an East Texas based artist who has been painting in one form or another for the past 40 years.  She attended Texas Christian University where she studied Art Education and went on to pursue a Masters in Painting and Drawing at the University of Dallas. GeorgeAnn later completed her education by recieving a Masters in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Photography, at the Academy of Art University.  She owned her own art studio in southern California, but since returning to Texas she has focus on teaching from her home based studio while working on her own portfolio.
