Julie Faver-Dylla has spent her career building relationships, creating opportunities, and championing the hospitality industry she loves. As President & CEO of the Hotel Association of Tarrant County (HATC), she leads one of the region’s most respected hospitality organizations, serving as a trusted voice for hotels, tourism partners, educators, and community leaders throughout Texas.

25 Years of Hospitality Leadership

With more than 25 years of hospitality sales, leadership, and association management experience, Julie’s career has been defined by a commitment to excellence and a genuine love for the industry. Before joining HATC in 2010, she spent more than a decade working for the hospitality management company Winegardner & Hammons at the DFW Airport Marriott South, where she earned a reputation as one of Marriott’s top-performing sales professionals. Her accomplishments included earning Marriott’s Franchise Revenue Leader of the Year Award twice, being recognized as the five-time Top Earner of the Year, receiving the Platinum Sales Club Award, and earning the Revenue Maximization Award for outstanding sales performance and revenue growth.

Julie brought that same passion, energy, and results-driven leadership to HATC, where she has transformed the association into a powerful force for advocacy, workforce development, education, and industry collaboration. Under her leadership, membership has grown significantly, partnerships have expanded, and HATC has become a leading voice for hospitality throughout Tarrant County and beyond.

Today, Julie is widely recognized as one of Texas hospitality’s most connected and influential leaders. Known for bringing people together and turning ideas into action, she has built partnerships that create opportunities for hotels, tourism organizations, students, and the communities they serve. Her warm ability to unite stakeholders around a common vision has helped strengthen the hospitality workforce, support industry-friendly policies, and develop future leaders who will shape the industry’s next chapter.

Julie actively serves on numerous boards and committees, including the Texas Hotel & Lodging Association Board of Directors, Visit Fort Worth, the Fort Worth Tourism Improvement District, the University of Texas at Arlington Hospitality Advisory Board, the University of North Texas Hospitality Advisory Board, Tarrant County College’s Hospitality Advisory Board, and the THLA Education Foundation Committee. She has also been involved in organizations including Texas Women in Lodging, HSMAI, MPI, W4, the Arts Council of Fort Worth & Tarrant County, Keller ISD Education Foundation, Northwest ISD Education Foundation.

Wife, Mother & Community Advocate
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Julie is a wife, proud mother, volunteer, mentor, and community advocate. Whether she’s traveling, supporting local causes, or competing on the kickball field, she brings the same energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to excellence that have defined her career. She and her husband, Eric, are raising two amazing children, Jacie and Jackson, who keep life exciting.
