Shauna Sinclair

Attorney at Law

Born in the heart of North Texas, Shauna Sinclair spent her early years in the East Texas sunshine of Gladewater before her family relocated to Colorado, where she lived in Montrose and Salida throughout middle and high school. As a young adult, she returned to Texas, settling in Tyler before eventually moving to Forney to pursue the challenging yet rewarding journey of law school.

Today, Shauna serves as the Managing Attorney of Sinclair Law Group, PC, bringing a wealth of experience, compassion, and a deep-rooted connection to Texas to every client she serves.

A Calling to Advocate for Others

From a young age, Shauna knew she wanted to become an attorney. She was drawn to the profession because she believed lawyers had the unique ability to stand up for and advocate on behalf of others during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Her passion for the law became even more focused at the age of 21 when she accepted an administrative position at a family law firm. At the same time, she was navigating her own personal family law challenges, experiences that ultimately solidified her decision to dedicate her career to helping families through similar circumstances.

Education and Experience

Shauna earned her law degree from UNT Dallas College of Law, the newest law school in Texas at the time. The opportunity to be part of a growing institution from its earliest days was particularly appealing, while its location also allowed her to remain close to both her family and her husband’s family. She was a member of only the second class to enroll at the school.

Before attending law school, Shauna spent more than a decade working exclusively in family law as a paralegal. In 2011, she became a Certified Paralegal, gaining valuable experience and insight that continue to serve her clients today. Her extensive background provides a unique understanding of both the legal process and the emotional realities families often face during difficult transitions.

A Personal Connection to Her Clients

What sets Shauna apart is her ability to relate personally to many of the challenges her clients experience.

As part of a blended family, she and her husband have navigated the realities of custody arrangements, co-parenting, and the many complexities that can accompany modern family life. Those experiences allow her to approach each case with empathy, understanding, and practical guidance.

She understands that family law matters are rarely just legal issues—they are deeply personal journeys that affect every aspect of a person’s life.

Life Beyond the Law

Outside the office, Shauna enjoys spending time with her family and embracing the outdoors. An avid reader and animal lover, she can often be found enjoying a good book, spending time with her dogs, hiking, swimming, or planning her next adventure.

She especially loves traveling to the beach, where she enjoys snorkeling, and has never turned down the opportunity to visit an amusement park and experience a thrilling roller coaster.

Awards and Recognition

Throughout her academic and professional career, Shauna has earned numerous honors and accolades.

While attending law school, she received multiple awards for her performance in competitions and for earning the highest grades in several courses. More recently, she has been recognized as a Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers Rising Star for two consecutive years.

Among her proudest achievements is being invited to present a one-hour Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program on Family Law Legislative Updates for the Kaufman County Bar Association, reflecting both her expertise and commitment to the legal profession.
